To the circularized rumor that the Butuan City Water District (BCWD) will have a water interruption for 2 days for the entire service area due to the installation of electric flow meter at Iyao, Anticala starting tomorrow at 10am up to 10pm on Thursday, for the past few days.
BCWD would like to inform its consuming public that the issue is not true. That there is no water service interruption for 2-days as of this moment.
It may serve well for the public to be reminded that the mentioned installation of electric flow meter at Iyao, Anticala was already conducted and completed last January 22-23, 2020. That the information used in the false advisory of having a 2-day water interruption already took place last January and not this month.
Legitimate announcements from BCWD aside from the text-blasts and radio announcements, are also posted at its official facebook page for verification purposes.
BCWD hopes that it has cleared the issue regarding the false information received by some concessionaires.
