BCWD serves additional 3 barangays
Butuan City Water District (BCWD) is now serving additional three barangays such as Bobon, Camayahan and Pianing, making 59 as the total number of barangays being served.
As of May 31, 2019, BCWD’s active water service connections from 59 barangays reached 50,122,including 286 new connections.
Of the 50,122 total service connections, population served is estimated at 250,610. Barangays Libertad, Villa Kananga and San Vicente topped for having the most number of service connections, as numerous new subdivisions have sprouted in these areas.
BCWD is currently undergoing a study for more areas in the city to be served.
