BCWD STARTS NORMAL OPERATION OF BIT-OS RESERVOIR

Butuan City Water District (BCWD) has just started normal operation of its newly completed water reservoir in Brgy. Bit-os, Butuan City.
BCWD started construction last year of the 8M peso reservoir in a 1,000 sq.m. lot in Bit-os that is owned by Butuan-LGU. The city government granted usufruct rights to BCWD for the use of the lot.
The reservoir can hold 1,000 cu.m. of treated water. Water consumers in Barangays Bit-os, San Vicente and Villa Kananga will benefit from the stored water in said reservoir.
With the normal operation of the reservoir in Bit-os, concessionaires in the above mentioned barangays are expected to enjoy 24/7 water supply in their faucets.
